Hungary has been a member of the Intersputnik International Organization of Space Communications since its establishment in 1971, with the National Media and Infocommunications Authority assuming responsibilities associated with membership since 2014.
The National Media and Infocommunications Authority
The NMHH is an autonomous regulatory body reporting to the National Assembly on an annual basis. With a staff headcount of approximately 650 professionals, it operates four locations within Budapest and another five outside the city (in Szeged, Pécs, Debrecen, Miskolc and Sopron).
