Among the many achievements of the authority in 2019, it was a particularly joyful moment to have the opportunity to personally inaugurate NMHH’s first infocommunications lab at the Széchenyi István University in Győr with support from NMHH on 16 May 2019. At the request of students, the lab will be geared towards space communications. The satellite donated by Intersputnik for educational and display purposes also demonstrates the commitment of students and professors at the university to space communications and satellites. I find this important because it signifies the presence of widespread, grassroots demand and talent for the improvement of space communications in Hungary which can serve as a basis for us as an infocommunications authority and a full member of Intersputnik to build upon the further development of this sector.
