The opening ceremony was also attended by the Secretary General of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Houlin Zhao, Director General of the International Mobile Satellite Organization (IMSO) Moin Ahmed, Director General of the International Telecommunications Satellite Organization (ITSO) Patrick Masambu, Director for Telecommunications and Integrated Applications of the European Space Agency (ESA) Elodie Viau, and Director of Institutional and International Affairs of the satellite operator Eutelsat SA David Bertolotti.

In her address, Ksenia Drozdova emphasized that relations between the two intergovernmental organizations - the Intersputnik International Organization of Space Communications, in which the Russian Federation, represented by the operator RSCC plays a key role, and the European intergovernmental organization Eutelsat IGO, are developing dynamically, acquiring a variety of new forms. In 2019, a cooperation agreement was signed between the two organizations. However, practical interaction began much earlier, over the years becoming multifaceted and growing in scale. In particular, numerous consultations and meetings of top executives and specialists of the two organizations have taken place. Currently, the parties are working to elevate their bilateral cooperation to a higher political level.
