This was the confident opinion expressed by theGeneral Manager of the Lao Asia Pacific Satellite Company Limited (Lao Sat), Mr Ding Yongbing, whenspeaking to the media on Monday. In a joint venture between the Lao government, China Rocket Company, Space Star Technology Co., Ltd. and the APST Company, Lao Sat 1 was launched on November 21, 2015.

VIENTIANE (Xinhua): The Lao Asia Pacific Satellite (LaosAT), a joint venture between China and Laos, has donated 100 million kip (some US$11,000) to the Lao government to help fight the Covid-19 pandemic in the country.
