Baku, March 30, 2020 – Azercosmos became the winner of the tender project on the Establishment of product forecasting system using methods of remote sensing, which was announced in Tajikistan by the Agricultural Entrepreneurship Development institution and held with the grant support from the World Bank.

Azerbaijan Satellite Operator Azercosmos and Japanese Ground Segment as a Service Provider Infostellar have signed an agreement that will enable Infostellar customers access to their satellite constellations from the Azercosmos Ground Station (AGS), located in the Absheron peninsula.

Baku, February 24, 2020 - Azercosmos and the Italian Space Agency signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the use of outer space for peaceful purposes. According to the Memorandum, Azercosmos and Italian Space Agency will cooperate on the matters of conducting research in the space field, processing the Earth Observation data, developing space technology and highly competent cadres, as well as exchanging experience.

Baku, February 14, 2020 – Azercosmos and Region TV channel of Kyrgyzstan signed a commercial contract. According to the contract, the Region TV channel is being broadcasted in the Central Asian countries via Azerspace-1 telecommunication satellite starting from February 14. The channel airs daily social, economic, and cultural news of the regions of Kyrgyzstan.

Baku, December 18, 2019 – The awarding ceremony of the winning teams at the “CanSat Azerbaijan 2019” model satellite competition, organized by Azercosmos and the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was held today.
